SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH PROJECT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AT HIGH SCHOOL AGE ?
Background Information : Although SRH is included in high school curriculum, after the meetings done with the education personnel and students, it is seen that the courses on these issues could not be effective and productive enough. It is either that students are not participating because of shame or that teachers prefer to skip these issues because of lack of focus of attention in the classroom. The family structure in the province is traditional and the communication between the elderly and young members of the family on reproductive health is out of question because of traditions, norms and values of the region. As a result, it is seen that young people are under the influence of superstitions and knowledge picked up here and there by listening and so, not facing with the changes occurring in their bodies during adolescence in a right way causes unhealthy consequences.
