SOCIAL WORK AND DANCE THERAPY HOSTED BY THE IBC


The Social Work and Dance Therapy event, hosted by the International Blue Crescent Foundation (IBC) and in cooperation with IOM took place in Beşiktaş Innovation Center. The training is based on the principal of the reflection of people’s actions, feelings and thoughts. The dance therapist helps the person to raise his awareness about his own thoughts, actions and as a result, he/she finds new paths to express him /herself.  The study was carried out under the leadership of Instructor Social Worker and Dance Therapist Mehmet Ballıkaya. Dance therapy, which supports personal development and social communication, has been attended by representatives of many NGOs and university representatives.
