CHILDREN BECAME CHESS MASTERS


In the end of the summer vacation, IBC Sultanbeyli Family and Youth Team started a preparation for Chess Competition in order for children and adolescents to be involved in a Chess Tournament. 18 children joined the ages was from 9 to 16 years old, the children distributed in six groups, and the children understand the competition rules and how to qualify for the second round and eventually the final. Afterwards, one child from each group was qualified for the second round and then for the final round. The aim of this competition was to establish the challenge spirit between the children, and to improve the thinking and patience talent and discover the talented children in this game, to try to take their talent to a higher level and improve it more to compete with higher levels within Sultanbeyli area and İstanbul.
