IBC IS AT SCIENCE FESTIVAL

Sultanbeyli Ali Kuşçu İmam Hatip Secondary School organized Science Festival in order to encourage the students to make scientific researches and to make practices through trial and experiment. The projects produced in the festival organized by the support of the Turkish Red Crescent Society were presented to the other students in the school and it was aimed to increase the scientific awareness in the school.

Non-governmental organizations have been invited to this organization, which is important for children to understand the importance of scientific knowledge. International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation also took a place among the invited guests and opened a stand, and both the scientific experiment demonstration and the foundation projects were introduced. In the scope of the festival, IBC exhibited an electric circuit experiment design in order to raise curiosity among the students. Vocational school students also took part in the cooperation of Sultanbeyli Vocational Training Center for the electrical circuit test. Electricity teachers were interviewed about experimental mechanism. Then teachers and young people designed an experimental mechanism. The experiment mechanism was formed as a continuous circuit. The experiment and practical presentation were welcomed by the students and the students were provided with new information.

Mayor of Sultanbeyli, Hüseyin Keskin and Sultanbeyli District National Education Director Yaşar Çağlar visited the science festival and exchanged information with students by examining the experiments on site. In the festival, experiments and devices have aroused interest in children and provided students with a pleasant day full of science and learning.
