TURKISH LANGUAGE COURSES FOR SYRIAN YOUTH AND CHILDREN


Since last 10 months, Turkish Language Courses for Syrian Children and Youth Project has been continuing with the support of Theirworld. More than 1200 young  beneficaries between 14- 19 years old and 100 children between 5-6 years old have participated in the languages courses that had been given by the instructors from İstanbul Aydın Üniversity Turkish Language Teaching Center ( Aydın TÖMER) as the academic consultant of the Project. During this pilot phase , in addition to the courses that  aim to mitigate the impact of language barrier against academic enrollment and succes, seminars on education and vocational life have  been organized . The very first 500 participants granted for TOMER certificates were given their documents during a ceremony. Please find the Project video including remarks from  benefeicaries in the link.
