INTERNATIONAL BLUE CRESCENT: GATE TO THE HOPE OF RESURRECTION


The civil war that goes on meaninglessly and cruelly has taken a lot from Syrian people. Some of them left a leg, some left both legs at once within this horrible war. Moreover, some lost legs and arms meanwhile.

To be brief, families got disrupted without minding children or old men and this war has unfortunately been proceeding for four years. Bombs and gunshots never stop; blood and tear flow in abundance.

Lucky ones broke away from the war and took refuge in our country. Most of them have been placed in refugee camps; wounded have been treated in several hospitals.

One of those hospitals is the Field Hosp

ETE Engineering & Technology Trading EST, Wonnam Medical Co. Ltd, a Saudi Arabian and Korean company having its name written in letters of gold in the medical equipment and health care service sector, will keep on providing the same support in Turkey from now on as it provided to handicapped people in Libya.

 

Through the project that has been materialized at the beginning of April, Medical Center Director of the companies Cho Chung-Myung has started to work in order to provide prosthesis support to the Syrian refugees. Within the scope of the campaign that will continue a week, at first 50 disabled Syrians will be affixed prosthetic legs.

During the campaign that has been started by IBC Field Hospital, the girls and boys who lost leg will be given priority. IBC will be providing a periodical orthopedic examination every 6 months to children in growth process. 

Syrian children who cannot run or play like others of the same age do will strictly hold on to life with this project. Darkness in their dreams will be enlightened for a war-free world.
