IBC’S SUPPORT TO THE FATHER, WHO LOST 10 PEOPLE FROM THE FAMILY IN AFGHANISTAN AIR ATTACK

Six children and 10 people from the Ahmedzai family, hit by the US airstrike in Kabul, lost their lives. The US has promised to pay compensation to the family of the victims, but so far no official contact has been made. While the remaining members of the family cannot enter the house where the attack took place, women and children in particular experience severe trauma.

IBC Afghanistan Emergency Relief Team, which continues its work in the region, came together with the family in that house where the tragedy took place and took action to cover accomodation needs of the family as well as provision of regular food relief.
