BTC RUN FOR THE HELP OF EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN ERZURUM THROUGH IBC AND ERZURUM ATATURK UNIVERSITY

IBC and its partners did not leave these students alone.

International Blue Crescent , (IBC) has made a move for giving support to people who are victim of Aşkale( Erzurum ) Earthquake.BTC has financed all operation and Ataturk University cooperated in the field during the implementation.
In the scope of relief program, which has been implemented by cooperation of IBC, BTC Co. and Atatürk University , shoes, gas tubes, stationery and food materials were delivered to citizens and students of the region, in 26 th of April, 2004. The Foundation has paid great attention in order

to reach to the real needy people. In this frame, before and during the distribution full cooperation with the local authorities established.
The relief program was implemented under the coordination of IBC Project Coordinator Naci VURAL and Atatürk University Staff Dilruba MEMİŞOĞLU .

materials. In addition, 200 families who are living in tent-city close to Ilıca were given 200 unit gas-tubes .
After the distribution in Ilıca, the operation staff diverted to Kandili Güvenç Pension Primary School , the greatest of region.
In that school with 326 students, 36 packages of fruit juice, 38 packages of biscuits, 550 unit stationery materials, 125 pairs of male shoes, and 150 pairs of female shoes were delivered. All materials were delivered under the supervision of The Mayor, The Director and other officials of the School. During the relief operation,

totally 800 unit stationery materials, 150 female shoes, 150 male shoes, 100 child shoes, 200 unit gas-tubes, 1600 units Saray Biscuits and 1600 units fruit juice were delivered.
