He is Selim Fırfır. He is married and has one son. He is 32 years old. He is electrician. He was one of the terror victims. He had been hospitalized for 2 months. He was discharged from hospital two weeks ago.
But he still cannot work. Who will look after his family?

On 15th and 20th of November three bomb attacks killed more than 50 and wounded more than 100 people in Istanbul. As in the previous examples, the public opinion has forgotten the victims and their families as though they were left alone with their fates. Because the breadwinners of the

families died or wounded in the incident, they have confronted with great difficulties. IBC has once again proved that it is the inexorable supporters of disadvantaged people all over the world. IBC and its partners Beyoglu Municipality and American Jewish World Services (AJWS) did not leave terror victims alone.

Foodstuffs were distributed to disadvantaged families on 30th and 31st of January. The packages contained the following foodstuffs: Sunflower oil, rice, haricot bean, lentil, chickpea, sugar, tea, macaroni, flour, tomato paste, and pounded wheat.

He was ready-made seller before the incident. He had a shop which was ruined when the bomb was exploded. He cannot
effort to restore his shop. Currently he is unemployed.

The aim was to cover their needs before the Eid. Ibrahim Toraman, the public relations coordinator of the International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation accompanied to the distributions. He witnessed the sufferings of these people and their happiness when they understood that they were not forgotten and some people are still trying to help them. IBC will continue its campaign with the support of AJWS for two months more (February and March) until the terror victims recover economically and being settled to different jobs.
