International Blue Crescent, a registered NGO in Syria, is signing a cooperation agreement with Syrian Red Crescent and UNHCR Syria in order to extend the relief program to 2000 refugee families.
More than 1,5 million refugees live in serious conditions in Damascus and other cities of Syria. Syrian authorities are struggling to solve the problems of the refugees, though with little success, due to the limited resources and lack of international support.
IBC campaign launched in July 2007 and managed to assist 500 families yet. International Blue Crescent aims to extend the number of beneficiary families to 2000.
