During the two-day Youth Knowledge Fair, 2008 National Human Development Report  prepared by UNDP on “Youth in Turkey” was introduced to the participants and visitors.
In the preparation of the report, with a view to determining the opportunities and needs of the youth in various regions in Turkey, a survey was conducted among 3000 young people while the focus group discussions and one to one interviews were organized The Report is now available both in English and Turkish at the UNDP website

In the context of the Youth Knowledge Fair attended by hundreds of people and more than 90 institutions including NGOs, student groups of universities, youth centres, youth assemblies, sports federations and representatives of state agencies working in the field of youth, 9 workshops participated by 280 people were organized along with theather shows, plays, concerts, dance and rhythm shows and folk dances.

The participating organizations had an invaluable opportunity to come together in a common platform and get to know other organizations working on or for  the youth.
