European Union Youth Project (backing by Turkish National Agency) was realized by young people with the support of International Blue Crescent Foundation in Siirt on 25 May-2 June, participated 5 countries include the host country. In the frame of this project; young people achieved to go a step further on the issue of racism. Furthermore; they imposed people the term of “Neither you nor me, we either” on the international area. |

| Contributed countries are; first of all Turkey the host country, Poland , Moldova , Georgia and Spain . They all become together in Siirt. Youths have chance to recognize new cultures and also benefited from different experiences on group works via organized activities. Turkish group presented Ebru artistry to European contributors. |

In activities, each contributed countries young people introduced their own culture in “Culture Nights” organized by them in daily program. Young people in Siirt captured new ideas and impressions for their life via conferences. 250 kites distributed on “Kite Festival” in Siirt and with the young people's expression “Sky hugs through peace”. Young people participated the conference in Siirt have chance to introduce their countries from A to Z. The mayor of Siirt Mr.Mervan Gul , the assistant governor of Siirt Mr. Aytekin YILMAZ, the vice chairman of chamber of commerce and industry of Siirt Mr. Nedim KUZU expressed their feelings as: “ We are very happy to entertain and host those young people from different cultures and countries in Siirt” |

One of the architect of this project Mr. Yunus Emre Aþan indicated his happiness by bringing different countries young people and host them in Siirt where is the one of the most beautiful city in Turkey. “ Siirt is worth to see because of its cultural and historical structure. Young people join with Siirt's young people in a short time, so it shows that our project achieved the main purpose.” |
