Ardahan Province, Posof County Beekeeping Training Project , which implemented by International Blue Cerescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC), within the framework of New Opportunities Program which is supported by European Union and directed by İŞKUR has been completed. A certificate and award ceremony has been organized for 75 trainers who have completed the course, all trainers were given certificate, and the most succesful trainers were awarded. The ceremony realized in Posof Municipality Wedding Hall on the 2th of the May, 2005.

Beside Ahmet Erdoğdu, Deputy Governor of Ardahan; Yıldıray Malgaç, Sub-Governor of Posof; Erdal Taşkıran, Deputy Mayor of Posof; Mehmet Ay, The Commander of Province Gendarma; Fuat Güzeldereli, The Directore of Village Affairs; many representative of public bodies and people has participated to the ceremony which was jointly organized with the “Mukhtars' Knowledge Competition” of Posof Sub-Governorship. Ahmet Baykent, the Ardahan Representative of IBC has thanked to EU for their support to the Project and to IŞKUR for tehir managerial support; to Yıldıray Malgaç, Posof Sub-governor for his contributions to the project and thanked to President of Posof Agricultural Cooperative, for filfiling their responsibilities perfectly, during his speech. He also thanked to the President of Ardahan Bee Breeders Union for their contribution to the training process of the Project.

The trained more than 80 people, including the volunteer attendies has been distibuted beekeeping materials by Posof Governorship. Beside beekeeping materials, the champions of the each three groups have been rewarded with hive included bees, seconds have rewarded with two hives and thirds were rewarded with one hive. Each of students were given €120, in the scope of the project budget, by IBC and Posof Agricultural Development Cooperative. The champions have taken their awards from Ardahan Deputy Governor, the seconds have taken awards from Liuetenant Colonel Bülent Karabulut and thirds have taken awards from Halil İnal, Prosecutor of Posof. Ardahan Deputy Governor has thanked to Posof Governor and IBC for their cooperation and succesful result of the project.
The candidates were chosed by the comission under the chairmanship of Posof governor, who were jobles. The priority was given to women, youth, former sentenced people, obstacled people. Six people have completed the course volunteerly, withouth paid any money.
