INTERNATIONAL BLUE CRESCENT CONTINUES TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE VILLAGE SCHOOLS
 

International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC) continues to meet needs of schools in the scope of Ardahan Community Investment Program (CIP). In the scope of same program supported by Baku Tbilisi Ceyhan Petrol Pipeline Company, many perfectly designed project activities are being implemented in wide range like livestock, agriculture, reparation of roads, establishment of water network systems… in 37 villages. Improvement of schools is one of the main components of the CIP.


As it is known well, Ardahan is one the underdeveloped region of Turkey . Due to educated human resource is one of main component of the development, IBC has realized many project in order to supplying a good quality and comfortable education conditions for students. The reparation and improvement activities of Posof High School and primary schools of Gönülaçan Village , Eminbey Village , Günlüce Village , Dereköy Village , Alaçam Village , Avcılar Village , Kumlukoz Village and Kartalpınar Village are some projects which can be mentioned here. IBC has lastly implemented the reparation projects of Beşiktaş Village and Çalabaş Village Primary Schools , beside the teacher houses of Beşiktaş Village .

A similar project has been implemented also in Çalabaş Primary School : All windows of the school renewed, the exterior doors were produced with iron materials. The contribution of villagers and Education Directorate has been held during both project. The villagers have undertaken the reparation of exterior surfaces of the school, construction of garden wall, production of iron doors; Education Directorate has undertaken supplying materials like sand, cement, paint…


The positive effect of the project has received in a short time. There is no doubt that, the reactions of students are the dominant indicator of the success of the project. The pleasure of them has motivated IBC for implementing such projects and their reaction showed the correctly determination of the projects.
